Inside Out Awards 2019 Judges announced

The Judging Panel for the Inside Out Awards has been announced today.

Our carefully selected panel of Judges bring together a unique set of experiences, knowledge and skill. They will be judging entries and nominations on a variety of criteria, including creativity, originality, collaboration, business impact, performance and commitment.

Emma Sexton, Founder of the Inside Out Awards says “We are delighted to have such a range of experts from across the UK design industry. Both individually and collectively they bring a wealth of experience and expertise, and it’s this that underpins the credibility of the Awards.”

We would therefor like to introduce you to this year distinguished panel.

Adriana Andujar, UX.UI Design Lead at Argos bring her creative approach and design thinking to the panel.  Through Adriana’s career within the design and advertising industry, she brings extensive knowledge and expertise on all things User Experience, HCI design, mobile app design and large scale multi-platform web solutions. Adriana’s recent work has been centred around Conversational Commerce, Intent-based shopping missions, AI & Visual Search and AR. Not only will Adriana be reviewing the entries and nominations, but she has also provided her valuable input into the creation of our new Digital Awards categories.

Robert Berkeley is the host of Inside Jobs podcast and co-founder and CEO of Express KCS. Throughout his career, he has worked with publishers, agencies and marketers, helping them solve and overcome their creative operations challenges. Robert therefore brings many years’ experience and a unique perspective to the Judging panel and we are delighted to have him on board.  

Sarah Ellis Jones, Team Leader at Aquent has a strong history of working within media and Publishing. Her current role at Aquent, means that she is constantly working with Creative Directors, Creative teams and designers at all levels across UX, UI, interaction, visual, digital, brand and graphic. A returning Judge to the Awards, Sarah already has a unique insight and will know exactly what she is looking for!

Jim Hubbard, Partner at White Door Consulting, has a long history of innovation in advertising. Working with both brands and agencies, Jim has run change management projects for over 60 businesses. As a Judge, Jim brings exceptional knowledge and know-how to the panel. Seeking creative work, effective campaigns, simplified ways of working, and above all business impact and commercial results.

Gellan Watt, Agency Founder and Brand Strategist will also be sharing his expertise having worked with world famous brands, start-ups and challengers, creating maximum brand value and results. Having picked up numerous accolades over the years, Gellan has been named the UK Marketing Industry MD of the year, been placed within the Marketing Power 100 and received over 150 creative awards.  With this experience of winning Awards, we are sure his insight will be most valuable to the panel.

Emma Murphy, Founder and Creative Specialist at Blacklight, has been helping marketing and creative teams to work better and smarter for the past 15 years. Having worked with some of the world’s leading brands across fashion, retail, entertainment and FMCG including Disney, British Airways, Nestle and Heineken, we are thrilled to have her on the panel. 

Returning Judge, Katie Leeman, Creative Director at MYWW brings us over 20 years’ experience in the design industry specialising in branding, product launches and experiential. Her unique understanding of brands and their strategic potential has allowed her to work on an array of clients, ranging from tech and finance through to alcohol and beauty products. Katie is currently the Creative Director for MYWW™, where she delivers exceptional strategy and creative ideas for clients such as Google, Aviva, Chargifi, MWM and Wilton & Bain. We are so grateful for Katies continued support and are thrilled that she will once again skilfully review all our entries.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all our Judges for committing their time to reviewing all the entries and nominations and we look forward to welcoming them to the Awards Final on the 30th October.
