Categories for your creative work


Best project award

This award recognises project-based work undertaken by In-House teams.

This category will be judged against three key criteria:

  • The business impact of the project

  • Creativity and originality

  • Challenges overcome in order to meet project objectives


Best internal rebrand

This award recognises the In-House teams who have played a key role in the successful development, execution and roll out of their company’s new brand identity.

This category will be judged against three key criteria. Additional points will be awarded for creativity and originality:

  • The performance of the rebrand: How well did it perform against the previous brand identity?

  • What was the business impact?

  • Evidence of any additional business challenges the team had overcome in order to deliver on the rebrand

What’s a great idea?

This is an opportunity to show how creative and original your design team can be.

This category will be judged against two key criteria:

  • Creativity and originality (70% of total points)

  • The business impacts of the project – how well would the project have delivered against the objectives of the brief. 

Design for good

This category is inspired by our Charity Clients.

It will be judged against two key criteria:

  • The Charity impact of the project – how well did the project deliver against the objectives of the brief. 

  • The creativity and originality of the response to the brief


Categories to celebrate your team


Impact on the overall business

This award is an opportunity to demonstrate In-House design talents and the impact they've had on the overall business.

This category will be judged against two key criteria:

  • Must show evidence that the in-house design team added a ‘business’ benefit to the project which went beyond pure visual styling

  • Evidence of overcoming any internal challenges which exceed the company’s expectations of the in-house design team’s capabilities


Best example of internal collaboration

This award recognises partnerships and collaboration with other divisions of a business which is often required by In-House teams.

This category will be judged against two key criteria with the opportunity to gain additional point, see below:

  • Must show evidence of the collaboration having a direct business impact.

  • Evidence of the In-House design team having influence within the business as a result of the collaboration.

Additional points can be awarded for:

  • Overcoming any internal challenges which was a barrier to collaboration previously

  • In-house design team added a ‘business’ benefit to the project which went beyond pure visual styling.


Best example of collaboration with an external agency

This an opportunity to demonstrate how your team added value to this relationship and enabled the end project to have an improved outcome.

This category will be judged against two key criteria:

  • Must demonstrate a collaborative relationship

  • Evidence of how the In-House design team contributed to the relationship with the external agency


Categories for your digital projects


Best Digital Experience

This award recognises the in-house creative teams who have played a significant part in the creation and execution of an end-to-end digital experience. 

This category will be judged against three key criteria. Additional points will be awarded for creativity and originality:

  • The performance of the digital experience and how it improved on what was in place previously.

  • What was the business impact?

  • Evidence of any additional business challenges the team had overcome in order to deliver the digital experience.


Best Digital Product 

This award recognises the in-house creative teams who have played a significant part in the creation and execution of a digital product.

This category will be judged against three key criteria. Additional points will be awarded for creativity and originality:

  • The performance of the digital product and how it came to be created.

  • What was the business impact?

  • Evidence of any additional business challenges the team had overcome in order to deliver the digital product.


Best Feature / Feature Set

This award recognises the in-house creative teams who have played a significant part in the creation and execution of a new feature or feature set for an existing product or service. 

This category will be judged against three key criteria. Additional points will be awarded for creativity and originality:

  • The customer problem the feature was aiming to solve (and how your business prioritised it) and the subsequent performance of the feature after it’s release.

  • What was the business impact?

  • Evidence of any additional customer or business challenges the team had overcome in order to deliver the digital feature.


Best Voice/Sound Experience

This award recognises the in-house creative teams who have played a significant part in the creation and execution of sound - from virtual voices to earcons.

This category will be judged against three key criteria. Additional points will be awarded for creativity and originality:

  • The how you developed the voice experience and what were your main objectives.

  • What was the business impact?

  • Evidence of any additional business challenges the team had overcome in order to deliver the sound experience.

This is an opportunity to nominate someone who you believe has made an exceptional contributed to a project or achieved something brilliant for the benefit of the business.

This category will be judged against two key criteria:

  • Creativity and or originality of a design project

Opportunity to nominate your MARKETING DIRECTOR, CREATIVE team leader, or CEO.

This category recognises the internal champions of in-house creative teams who recognise their value and contribution to the businesses these teams operate within.

Entries will be judged against two key criteria:

  • Demonstrate exception leadership and advocacy for the in-house creative team

  • Support and development of others
